Coastal Technologies Group Names Jay
Bowker Vice President for Worldwide Sales and Marketing
Telecommunications Industry Professional Joins
Rapidly Growing Operations Support Provider
BOCA RATON, FL – May 31, 2005
– Coastal Technologies Group Inc. (CTGi), a leader in call
detail processing, accounting and OSS support for the telecommunications
industry, today announced that it has named Jay Bowker as vice
president, worldwide sales and marketing. In this position, Bowker
will be responsible for growing the customer base and supporting
CTGi’s solutions and services that help carriers meet stringent
Sarbanes-Oxley guidelines.
Mr. Bowker has more than 22 years of experience
in telecommunications sales, business development and executive
management. Most recently, Bowker served as vice president of
worldwide sales and services at Overture Networks, a leading developer
of converged packet access platforms for private and local exchange
carriers.

Immediately prior Overture Networks, Bowker was
vice president of worldwide sales and services at Centerpoint
Broadband Technologies. He was also director of sales at VINA
Technologies where he was instrumental in fueling the company’s
sales growth and helped position VINA for a successful IPO in
2000. Bowker also served in the United States Air Force for eight
years working in telecommunications support.
