Coastal Technologies Group,
Inc. Announces CMP (Call Management Platform)
A highly scalable, integrated message processing system with the
flexibility for today’s telecommunications carrier.
Boynton Beach — March 4, 2002 —
Coastal Technologies Group, Inc. (CTGi), a specialized software
development company with a product set designed to address the
transaction-intense processing requirements of the telecom community,
announced today the availability of CMP (Call Management Platform).
CMP is a state-of-the-art traffic analysis, management, and reporting
system that performs comprehensive, network-wide call processing
in real time to provide carriers with invaluable detail and summary
data. CMP collects, analyzes, enhances, stores and searches CDRs
(Call Detail Records) and IPDRs (Internet Protocol Detail Records)
generated by local, tandem, international, and soft switches.
Engineered to process raw call data both directly and immediately,
CMP accomplishes critical management, cost, planning, and fraud
detection functions with extraordinary accuracy.
CTGi’s President, Richard Kane, states,
“Telecommunications companies require flexibility in transaction
processing to manage the explosive growth in their network transactions.
In today’s market, where fractions mean millions of dollars
and success is all about accuracy and control, Coastal’s
CMP provides a means to cut cost, be more competitive, and improve
customer satisfaction. We believe that CMP will become the de
facto standard by which all traffic systems will be measured.”
CMP was created as a component system in order
to address the diverse needs of telecom carriers. The already
powerful CMP engine may be further enhanced by the addition of
one or more modules. The currently available selection includes
modules that handle CABS/bill audit, revenue assurance, traffic/line-cost
analysis, message processing, fraud/balance control, mediation,
and CDR/IPDR searching. Communication between CMP components facilitates
sharing of CDR/IPDR-derived data, resulting in seamless efficiency.
For those carriers who demand cost-effective and speedy implementation,
CMP is also available as an ASP service.
Coastal Technologies Group, Inc. has been
servicing the telecommunications carrier community for six years
with its unique line of high quality software products and services.
CTGi applications are utilized on over 1,000 desktops in six states.
