Coastal Technologies Group is Industry’s First to Web Enable Entire Product Line

Boynton Beach — February 25, 2004— Coastal Technologies Group announced today its plan to web enable its line of telecommunications order management and call processing software solutions. This initiative is unique in their industry and sets a new standard for service to telecom carriers.

The CTGi Call Management Platform® offers a complete solution for processing, tracking, and monitoring call data at the summary and detail levels. The combined network traffic from these products exceeds 7 billion transactions per month through the CTGi data center. This traffic flows through the company’s ASP-based service with guaranteed turn around time. The software has proven to be so predictable and so well engineered, that the company is now prepared to web enable the entire product line.

The CTGi OSS Connect® solution allows all service providers to communicate via web services and thin clients—automating faxing, ASR (access service request) and LSR (local service request) preparation and other manual, labor-intensive steps.

New entrants to the telecom provider arena won’t have to invest in implementation of provisioning software, won’t have to rely on their trading partners to provide completion reports and can own all of their own provisioning and call data from day one.

The company expects the entire effort to take less than 12 months. This includes transforming 1000 desktops in four states. Coastal Technologies Group will be among the first in the industry to complete a transition to Net Services using the .NET framework and the industry standards for XML based web services.
