Senior Sales Engineer
(North America: Eastern, Central
and Western US)
We are looking for Senior Sales Engineers who
will be responsible for managing and meeting the day-to-day technical
activities and needs of customers both domestically and internationally.
The Senior Sales Engineer interfaces at all
levels within each customer’s organization, and will coordinate
highly technical information, business proposals and emerging
requirements.
The Senior Sales Engineer will work closely
with Regional Sales Managers/Directors and will help ensure the
overall revenue and business objectives are met while ensuring
overall customer satisfaction.
Key experience requirements:
- Experience supporting sales teams of complex
network solutions for telco service providers
- Previous experience supporting software sales
in a telco service provider environment and knowledge of provisioning,
ASR/LSR service orders and CDR processing/traffic analysis are
a bonus
- Ability to provide both pre- and post-sales
support on all technical issues including training, design,
and implementation
- SQL Server and Visual Studio .NET / Visual Basic
experience a bonus
- Organization, presentation, and leadership skills
are mandatory
- Capable of leveraging existing relationships
to penetrate all levels within a specific account
- Ability to work closely with Regional Sales
Managers/Directors to continuously increase the prospective
pipeline to help ensure that ambitious corporate revenue objectives
are met
- Work closely with engineering to resolve complex
customer technical issues
- Identify new markets to expand the presence
of the Company’s products
- Capable of providing timely feedback to product
management of emerging customer requirements and new vertical
markets
- Ability to work remotely from corporate headquarters
- Prior start-up experience is highly preferred
- Minimum 50% travel both domestically and internationally
Education and Experience Requirements:
- BS degree in relevant field or equivalent pertinent
experience/training plus a minimum of 8+ years in a similar
role
