Regional Sales Manager/Director
(North America: Eastern, Central
and Western US)
We are looking for experienced Regional Sales
Managers/Directors who will be responsible managing the overall
sales operations as well as the day-to-day customer activities
and needs within a large geographical region.
The Regional Sales Manager/Director interfaces
at all levels within each customer’s organization, and will
coordinate highly technical information, business proposals and
emerging requirements.
The Regional Sales Manager/Director is responsible
for achieving assigned sales quotas, business objectives and overall
customer satisfaction. This is a new mission-critical position
reporting directly to the Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing.
Key experience requirements:
- Experience supporting overall revenue and account
management of complex network solutions for telco service providers
- Previous experience with software sales in a
telco service provider environment and knowledge of ASR/LSR
service order and CDR traffic is a bonus
- Continuous successful quota attainment through
direct sales and partnerships
- Leverage existing relationships to penetrate
all levels within a specific account
- Demonstrated ability to gain, build, and expand
executive-level customer relationships
- Proven track record of coordinating activities
in sales cycles ranging from 2 to 12 months
- History of growing a new geographical region
- Ability to continuously increase the prospective
pipeline to help ensure that ambitious sales objectives are
met
- Capable of identifying new markets to expand
the presence of Company’s products
- Provide feedback to product management of emerging
customer requirements and new vertical markets
- Accountable for revenue growth and new customer
acquisition while operating within acceptable financial guidelines
- Strong negotiation skills and business acumen
- Ability to work remotely from corporate headquarters
- Prior start-up experience is highly preferred
- Minimum 50% travel, within the assigned geography
Education/Experience Requirements:
- BS/BA degree in a relevant field or equivalent
pertinent training/experience plus a minimum of 10+ years managing
a sales territory to include proficient sales, organization,
presentation, and leadership skills
