Richard Kane

Richard Kane is president and CEO for Coastal Technologies Group, an industry leading software solutions provider specializing in the development of electronic solutions for the telecommunications industry.

As president, Kane sets the direction in OSS research, design, development and optimization for Coastal Technologies Group. He is active in the day-to-day operations of the business and remains entrenched in the telecommunications industry as a whole.

Kane has extensive experience in telecommunications, IXC Traffic/Network engineering and information processing, real time systems and device communications. He holds a BA in Mathematics, Faculty Scholars Program, Florida Atlantic University. He completed the Harvard Business Review/Leadership Program, the Holden Strategic Value Program, the EDS Leadership Development program, and has advanced financial services training including holding a Series 7 and Series 55 general securities license.

Prior to founding CTGi, Kane served as Director of Network Product Development, with responsibility for a Network Development Group for EDS. In this position, he was responsible for providing support for all aspects of carrier network operations, including traffic analysis, fraud prevention, trouble analysis and reporting, operator services, dedicated order processing, provisioning, CDR collection, network control and VPN.

Kane holds multiple patent and copyright properties, and leads R&D in high performance computing and artificial intelligence.
